Double-ended needles are pointed at both ends which allows them to be used from either end. These have been most commonly used to knit smaller tube-shaped pieces such as sleeves, collars, and socks. These pins are used in sets of four or five. The finish is smooth hence allowing the stitches to move smoothly and quickly.
